Asake | Live in London (o2 Arena)

Despite only breaking onto the music scene just over a year earlier, Nigerian artist Asake’s sold-out show at the o2 Arena opened to 20,000 fans seeing the artist revealed riding underneath a helicopter.

We supplied a dual-track automation system, delivering the 1200kg helicopter over the top of the LED screen and out onto the B-stage, controlled by a Kinesys Vector control system. The helicopter was able to travel along the track out into the audience and also rotate, in addition to vertical movement.

There were two additional Kinesys-controlled points for aerialist silk-dancers, who joined Asake on the B-stage for a more reflective moment mid-show.
