Need more load capacity than your venue allows
We custom design and build ground supports to fit into your space, allowing lighting, audio or video equipment to be flown in spaces where there just isn’t capacity.
Self-climbing ground supports allow for the installation of spreaders and top rigging to reduce the need for work at height, and can provide clearances of up to 20m depending on production loadings.
Additional towers can be designed in to the structure to provide higher loading where required, and structures can be designed for use outdoors or indoors as needed. All towers are fitted with fall arrest hardware for safer access to the grid for working personnel as standard.
In conjunction with our Layher scaffolding system, where required a substructure can be integrated in to the base of the ground support. This allows for the deployment of ballast, or including a stage platform with 7.5kN/m 2 into the base of the structure.
Cantilevers can be installed, and in cases such as big tops, we can kelp/rake the cantilevers to follow roof contours and achieve maximum trim heights.
